Kitchen:
Wipe down the range
Clean out the oven
Wipe down the oven hood
Dust the bottom of the dish washer

Defrost the freezer
Wipe down all the counters

So if your lawn does not look good, the rest of your yard will look worse for wear. Below are a few things you can do in order to get your yard ready for that great first impression.
Getting the watering right: For many lawns, the reason why they look a little green around the gills are because they are not properly watered. A lawn should be watered every two to three days to a total depth of one inch. This can be a little confusing at first, so try this simple trick. Set up your sprinkler like normal and place a pan in the yard directly were the water would hit. Time how long it takes to fill the pan to the one-inch mark. Once you have completed this you will know how long to water your yard each time.
